This matters

Baby will lie where it is easiest to be – not necessarily where it is easiest to come out when called to by life.
You can likely shift this simply, easily, safely. If you want an easy time labouring and birthing.

What to do?

Get aligned to do so . .
Open the baby gate FULLY.

Baby in ROA  – will likely head to OP (occiput posterior) 0r sunny side up – non optimal position for most women. Although bub is head down.

Some are fine birthing OP – most get blocked. (Clue – backache labour)

Most women need bub to be lying on her left side – facing opposite direction to this. Kicks to the right . .

I have found in my obstetric work that if a woman comes in ‘for induction’ – what holds up a labour starting – or what holds up a baby coming out (stuck at cervix 7 cm dilated – as the head needs to mould to be 2 cm less to get out) is this positional shift is needed. More on this in the resources pack 2.

Why is this? We are made this way.

Please watch the turns bub makes to exit.
Easiest when mum is up and taking her cues from her fully present and aware body. She and baby dance to her arms.

Many bubs were misaligned –  and when the moxa and massage happened – often JUST the moxa on the sacrum. Mum sitting forwards always – baby moved OFF the sciatic nerve – as now there were different inner ‘instructions’.

Please look to the back pain stories .

Same with breech . .
